here is the final version of my video which was completed yesterday.
here is my animatic. due to the trouble i had with getting a couple to act in the dream sequence i was not able to story board the scene until after i had made this because i was not sure how comfortable my unknown actors would be doing certain shots.
the aim of the editing is to set the scene before you see the main crash bang wallop dream sequence so that it really builds a narrative.
i made this by taking stills of my story boards, then using Sony Vegas, edited the duration of the still to work out the timing that i wanted.
you may notice that the location for this animatic is still in by the beach this was because my location changes where very rushed once i had gotten actors. looking back on this, i think it would have been a good idea to have a contingency plan in place from the start to account for any issues that arose.
