I pitched my ideas to my class for the two chosen briefs and they felt like I should follow through with the M&S brief.
My tutor mentioned that he thinks it is a really strong idea and that I should try and keep really disciplined and think of how the banding worked in relation to everything.
in order to be get ready to write a work book on how the style should go i need to: in no particular order:
- researching M&S history
- researching inhouse M&S brands
- analyse existing M&S advertising & branding
- Sketch layout ideas
- Sketch logo ideas
- Sketch Letter forms
- Create a colour pallet
onces I have done this I should have a clear image in my head on how the branding would work on any object and will be able to write a style guide.
